The Legacy of Beezer and Boomer: Lessons on Living and Dying from My Canine Brothers

The newly published and well received book, The Legacy of Beezer and Boomer relates how author Doug Koktavy, a longtime Safe Harbor volunteer, foster and adopter, struggled as he cared for his Labradors during their terminal illnesses and, more importantly, how he learned to overcome fear and guilt and find acceptance during those difficult times. The lessons he learned will be inspiring and helpful to anyone who must say goodbye to a beloved companion animal.
