Although we do not know them personally, we do enjoy the beer that Camden is the face of, Laughing Lab. We especially enjoy it at Lab Fest and we even name our fantasy football team the Laughing Labs. We saw that the Bristols were having a wake for Camden at the Brewery and that they were going to donate $2 for every pint of Laughing Lab that was sold that evening in Camden's memory to Safe Harbor Lab Rescue. We were unable to make it to the Springs but thought we too would send a donatation in her memory. We will also buy some Laughing Lab in her honor.

Above is a picture of our most wonderful 14-year-old Black Lab Leah. This picture was taken on a camping trip the week before she died. We are making a donation to Safe Harbor Lab Rescue in Leah's memory.

Leah was an amazing dog. She taught us all about the wornderful qualities of the Black Lab. She was brilliant and sweet, tenacious and fun-loving, caring and lovingl. We figure she knew over 200 words and phrases. She loved to play — the mountains here are littered with Leah sticks. She made up new games and taught those games to us. She took care of us. She took care of the other digs in our pack — including on elder Irish Setter with severe arthritis, a Border Collie mix who was blind and her younger Irish Setter brother who had total hip replacement surgery because of sever hip dysplasia. She was sensitive to all their needs, demanding their vets to take good care of them — as well as sensitive to our needs.

We appreciate the work you do and the honor you bring to Black Labs.
