The handsome young pup proudly wearing his blue Safe Harbor bandanna and keeping a paw on his new dad to make sure he stays forever, is 3-year-old Dakota, pictured here with his new parents, James and Donna, and his new big sister, Kismet. Dakota is settling in beautifully and finding out that there’s nothing better than knowing you will be home for the holidays.
Dakota’s parents write: We have had Dakota in our home for just over three weeks now. He has fit into our family incredibly well and really seems right at home here. He has gotten along extremely well with our 12 year old female, Kismet, shown in the attached picture of my wife, Donna, and me and Dakota.
After having to put down our yellow lab, Cooper, our best friend for over 9 years, we were trying to replicate our situation with our old lab. I can safely say that we have already done remarkably well after only 3 weeks. He is very playful, loves his walks, during which he carries the leash in his mouth, and is really enjoying being with us.
