PLEASE READ: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of our daily lives and dog rescue is no exception. Our top priority is to continue to care for our Labradors and help Labradors in need, while providing a safe environment for our volunteers and our community.
Safe Harbor is an all volunteer organization. During the coming days and weeks, we ask you for your patience and understanding as this is a fluid situation. We are supporting and respecting our volunteers during the social distancing period and as a result, our responses regarding adoptions and application processing may be delayed. The number of Labs available for adoption may be limited, too. Due to the State of Colorado “Shelter-in-Place” rule, all interstate transfers are on hold therefore reducing the number of Labs we have available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting a rescue Lab, please fill out an application and specify the type of Lab you are looking for on your application.
As a rescue we will continue to closely monitor the situation and recommendations from local, state, and federal government officials.
Note: If you are interested in adopting a lab you must first submit an Adoption Application to Safe Harbor. Safe Harbor is an all-volunteer organization and unfortunately we are unable to respond to phone calls and emails regarding application status. We cannot guarantee that the dog that you are interested in will still be available after your application has been reviewed and processed. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and appreciate your interest in adopting a Safe Harbor Lab.
