Young Barry joined Chris and Heather’s family when he was just a two-month-old bouncing baby Lab and it’s been nonstop fun ever since.  Along with his fabulous new parents, Barry now has two kids of his own and a Labradoodle big sis named Lucy, so he can always find someone to pal around with.  There’s never a dull moment as this adorable boy with the face of an angel and the heart of a daredevil finds a new puppy adventure around every turn as he dives headfirst into this new, big, wide world.

Heather and Chris report:

We adopted an amazing Lab/Newfoundland mix from SHLR about 11 years ago.  We lost him unexpectedly on Father’s Day this year.  His sister, a 12-1/2-year-old rescue as well, was very sad, as were we.  I reached out to SHLR again to see if we might be able to adopt another furry friend.  It wasn’t long before we were approved and then little Tigger, now named Barry, came along.

We have truly enjoyed getting to know Barry and welcoming him into the family!  He went for his first camping trip in Colorado and Glendo State Park in Wyoming.  He loved the water and even stuck his head under and blew bubbles while he was swimming!  We look forward to taking him on many more adventures and getting to know his fun personality!  Thank you SHLR for bringing smiles and love into so many people’s lives!!
