While Cooper was only with us for a little over four years, he had a wonderful life with his family and his brother Emmett, a yellow Lab. Cooper was able to go to the dog park multiple times a week and loved swimming in rivers and lakes. He was in amazing shape for being an 11-year-old dog. He played fetch with the best of them and made friends wherever he went. He didn’t have much interest in other dogs but he sure made friends with other people. There wasn’t a person that met him that didn’t become enchanted with him and his smile as he carried his ball around. He was such a happy dog and was the missing piece to our family puzzle. While his death was swift and very unexpected, we are grateful that he didn’t suffer. The night before he died, he was at the dog park fetching balls and getting pets from all of his people friends.
