When we adopted Dozer we knew this big boy wouldn’t be around forever. He was about 10 at the time we adopted him in December of 2016 and had been in a kill shelter in Utah before he came to Safe Harbor.
Dozer enjoyed his time with us, resting at our feet with two square meals a day, daily walks, and all the crumbs our grandkids left behind. His hind end finally was giving out and we decided that even with medications and love, it just was too much for him. Dozer passed over that bridge on June 28th and is now happily doing all the things labs love to do.
