The new doggie denizen at Diane and Dan’s house is a 1.5-year-old black beauty now known as Ellie. Sweet Ellie was thrilled when she learned that her new family included a look-alike grand dame of a Lab, the ravishing Ms. Rosie. “Pshaw,” 11.5-year-old Rosie exclaimed with dignified dismay when asked about the generation gap between her and young Ms. Ellie, “we’re the best of besties, sisters-in-lab, two peas in a pod….” And once again, there’s no arguing with Lab love. Diane and Dan sent us an update on their new pup: “Miss Lily had a name change to Ellie. We feel incredibly blessed to have Ellie join our family. Our other lab Rosie is 11.5 years old and we thought it would be nice to have a younger Lab join the family. We couldn’t be happier. These two are in love and absolutely feeding off each other in amazing ways. Ellie is goofy and sweet. She makes us laugh every day. Honestly, I think pictures are the best way to share how she’s doing! Thank you to Teri (foster) for being so kind and to Safe Harbor for the work that you do. She is an amazing dog.” Best, Diane, Dan (Rosie & Ellie)
