That fabulous yellow fellow warming hearts and couches at Joe and Liz’s house these days is the talented Mr. George.  Three-year-old George has moved in, unpacked his dinner bowl and tennis balls, tested the sofa, and is beginning to realize that he gets to sit and stay forever.  Good boy, George.  George’s new parents  sent us their early impressions of their new pup after he had been home for a few weeks:George is a sideler always at my side (watched too much Seinfeld I guess) it has been a wonder to see his transformation from being afraid and skittish about everything and everyone to being comfortable in his own skin.  I take him to the dog park almost every day for a three-to-five-mile hike. He is dedicated to the ball and really enjoys chasing it and just recently teasing me with it before I can throw it again. He can’t wait for his breakfast and dinner. Warm, loving, loyal, energetic and happy is how I would describe him.  A great guy that George! ~JoeIt’s fun watching George’s progress.  He loves his couches (even though he is not allowed up on them) he inevitably ends up on them.  George’s nightly routine is to sit on the floor by my side and have me pet him around the ears and neck. (His second favorite thing) He just started putting his paw on me when I try to stop; so, I continue until he slowly slides down on his back for his belly rub.  I eventually get up to go the kitchen, not gone for more than 5 minutes and of course when I come back to my seat,  who do I find in my spot on the couch?  You guessed it.  George is a quiet, stealthy dog.  He’d make a great spy. ~ Liz

Thank you to Kristy M. and to Michie, Grant, and Austin for fostering George!
