No batteries are needed for young Gunner. The two-and-a-half-year-old had big paws to fill when Jeff and Judy’s last Safe Harbor Lab crossed the rainbow bridge over the summer. This young black Lab has not disappointed. Always up for whatever is going on, he has the energy to match anyone. He is thrilled to have his canine cousins around and never misses a chance to tag along.
Jeff and Judy gave us an update:
“It had been four long and sad months since the passing of our beloved Scout who had been with us for over 14 years. He was a rescue from SHLR as well. In early July, we began the search for a new fur baby through SHLR. Our prayers were answered when Gunner came into our lives on July 31st. Wow…Scout sent us a great one! Gunner is full of life and playfulness with non-stop energy. We think he is the four-legged version of the Energizer bunny.
Gunner loves to play with his cousin Theodosia and his buddy Auto (SHLR rescue). Don’t think you are going to get in the truck and leave him behind. Nope…”I am going too!” he says.
