With a very heavy and broken heart we would like to donate in the name of our very good boy Gibson. We adopted Gibson from Safe Harbor Lab Rescue years ago, a decade ago. We had a very scared loving girl mix (Maya) who had been very abused. We were told she need “Fur courage” to show her how good most people could be. So like any good fur baby parents we were like all right. While the first meeting with Maya may not have gone like we wanted. The rest was amazing. Gibson not only gave her fur courage, but he also made everyone who came into contact with him better. He was so loving and tried to help with everything. He tried to help cut wood, mow the lawn, other yard work, housework and so much more. He had a bark for everything from alert to “here I am” to “there is someone.” Like a good Lab he fetched everything balls, sticks, birds, toads, bugs and so much more. All the animals he would bring were alive. He was a friend to all and loved by so many. He was my fur courage and a very good boy. ~ Alicia
