Amazing things happen when you take a chance and trust someone. Young Jack did just that, and the payoff was worth it. This 6-month-old black lab was a stray who was not too healthy or too trusting when he joined Michelle and Joshua’s family. But as Steve Winwood says, “If you see a chance, take it.” Well, Jack did and is now living his best life. Another dog, teens, and a stand-up paddleboard.
Michelle and Joshua gave us an update:
Jack is so fantastic!! It will be hard to sum up in just a few lines. I’ve also been trying to get a different photo to add. He was so underweight when we adopted him. He’s quite striking now that he’s fully healthy! Here’s our update/story:
We had just lost our single best dog we’ve ever owned. Our other amazing dog was aging and didn’t have long. We felt we were ready to add another pup to the fam and we found Jack! Jack came to us underweight due to several factors, afraid of everything and everyone. Within a few weeks Jack seemed to realize he was finally home, safe, and could act like a puppy! Jack is the sweetest, cutest, smartest, most lovable pup ever! He’s learning to walk better on the leash, to co-pilot my SUP, and we are pretty sure he’s the favorite dog at doggie daycare! He came at the perfect time for our family. Thank you SHLR for saving this guy and allowing us to take him home.
Thanks GRRR for fostering!
