Annika was more than ready to add a dog to her home and was finally at a point where she had the time to devote to giving a dog the best life possible. The lucky pup who joined Annika’s family is 4.5-year-old Jett, who gives his new mom a very enthusiastic four big paws up. Annika sent us an update on her new pup:
Jett (formerly Blake) has settled in amazingly! He has been taking training classes and is learning to walk like a gentleman on the leash. I can’t think of a bad thing to say about him, he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and loves saying hello to other dogs when we are on our walks. I have two young nieces and he is so great around them and lets them pet him and lay with him on the floor when he is around them. We have had A LOT of snow since I adopted Jett and let me tell you, he is a Colorado dog and LOVES playing in the snow! I have attached a picture from one of the snow days where we got to play outside and build snowmen all day!
Jett really loves doing what I do which makes him the perfect dog for me, he is content being lazy on the couch and watching movies (laying on his back with his feet in the air is his favorite) with me as well as being active and going for runs/walks in the park. He loves smelling to check and see if I left any food on the counter and when he does he makes the cutest noise that sounds like a helicopter! He also loves to howl along when he hears fire sirens, even in the middle of him sleeping. I am excited for the weather to warm up so Jett and I can start hiking in the mountains together! Overall I feel like I got so lucky finding Jett and I am looking forward to many more years together!
