The gorgeous yellow fellow spreading Lab sunshine all around his new home with Sherrie and Jeff is four-year-old Luke. Although he has been busy learning the lay of the land, getting to know all the local critters, and helping his new parents ring in the new year, this very good boy didn’t forget to send us an update.
“Welcome to Labstyles of The Almost Famous,” Luke woofed with a wink and a wag as he gave us this peek into his fabulous new world: 
“It has been two months since my new family picked me up so it’s time for an update. First, they changed my name to Luke. I was confused for a couple of days but now have it down and like the short name. The new people are very nice and take me for long walks in the woods twice a day. There are lots of new animal smells and I love the exercise (lost six pounds). The food here is really good, and I have plenty of treats and toys. My favorite is called a penguin which they put treats in every night at 7:00. I also got to meet my new vet who showed me pictures of his two labs. Now you won’t believe this one — my family took me for a ride in their big truck and I have the whole back seat with both windows. We went to their cabin with more woods and a pond! I can’t wait ‘til spring so I can swim.
“My new family tells me this is my forever home now, and I sure hope so. I am very happy SHLR found this place for me, and my family also seems very happy that I am here.”
