mama_duke_wilson_couch Eight-year-old Mama Bear will be enjoying her golden years in a relaxed and happy home.  From her name, Mama is just as you would imagine her to be, with a kind and sweet disposition, and a warm chocolate coat that begs for cuddle time.  Mama Bear woofed her approval when greeted by her new canine brothers and sisters, but just couldn’t get enough of her new adoptive momma, Lori.  This is Lori’s joy, and a testament to her soft heart.   For Lori,  the days are always brighter when surrounded by her special family.mama-bear_dawn_mister-wilson_tallulah

Lori sent us this update on Mama Bear:  I wanted to say how grateful I am to have Mama Bear as part of my extended 4-legged family. She is such a sweet lovable girl and I love her so very much.  Mama Bear gets along fantastic with all of my other dogs, and she follows me around wherever I go.  She enjoys exploring the 3 acres I have fenced in for my dogs, and barking at the cows grazing in the pasture across of my dirt road. She has slept on all of the sofas in the house, and decided she prefers the recliner in my bedroom the best for her naps.

I was never able to have any two legged children, and all of my rescued dogs mean the world to me.  Plus, growing up I was never allowed to have a dog, so I guess you could say that I’ve made up for my lost childhood.

In the photos are my Bloodhound “Duke”, and my Beagle “Sandy” and my Aussie “Mister Wilson” and little “Lucy” and of course my “Mama Bear”.
