At just a year old, Otis is already a bit of a Renaissance man with a wide range of talents, interests, and pursuits, from a variety of athletic endeavors to exceptional social skills and maneuvers, and this gifted fellow is also rumored to be an up-and-coming young artist. Keep an eye out for Otis at the next gallery opening, but in the meantime, you can find him happily frolicking, running, hiking, and cuddling, with his new parents, Greg and Cyndy, and canine sister, Tundra.
Otis’ family sent us an update on the new kid: Handsome, happy, spunky and full of shenanigans, Otis came into our lives a couple of weeks after losing our 12-year-old beloved black Lab, Sampson. With heavy hearts and an empty house, we started the search for a companion for our 6 year old cattle dog/rat terrier,Tundra, and for ourselves. A year old, Otis has TONS of energy and loves to play ball, go on hikes, wrestle with Tundra, and sniff and investigate while on walks around our 5 acres. Maybe we should have named him Casanova as he is a true lover and you’ll find him climbing into a guest’s lap when they sit on the couch. Or, should we have named him Shadow as he follows Cyndy pretty much everywhere she goes, especially into her art studio where he often comes out with a little paint on him. Hmmm, perhaps we should have named him Michael Jordan because he sure can jump as he cleared the fence around our backyard 8 times the first weekend we had him (don’t worry, we resolved this problem fast!). Or, Bo Jackson because he’s a speedy sprinter and a talented ball catcher. Regardless, he has brought lots of joy and laughter into our lives. Many thanks to Ronda and Steve for fostering Otis/Bruno!
