Chief is a top dog when it comes to being the “leader of the fun” on four paws! About 11 months old, he’s a silly light-hearted 65 pound puppy with a zest for life. “Every day is the best day of my life!” he wags with enthusiasm. His family surrendered him to a rescue partner when they discovered they didn’t have the time or interest in the training and exercise a growing youngster needs.
“I really like this guy! He gives kisses and listens,” exclaimed our volunteer who has been hanging out with Chief. He knows sit and walks nicely on leash with a front clip type walking harness. Sniffing and sauntering along are his modus operandi. Absolutely tickled to see you, his four-on-the-floor greetings are a work in process! Chief gets along well with other good-natured dogs his size and loves a good romp with his buddies at doggie day care. Not sure how he feels about cats.
Chief will thrive with an active young-dog savvy family who will provide kind leadership, structure, lots of daily exercise and positive oriented training. Patience and a sense of humor with a young one’s shenanigans are musts! A shopping trip together for a good supply of approved chewables would be fun too.
Goofy and energetic, people loving and eager to please, Chief woofs, “I know my very best life ever is ahead with you!”
