While Jackson may look like quite the distinguished gentleman, look a little closer at that twinkle in his eye and you’ll soon get a hint that he’s the sweetest, most loving little character ever! He’s about seven-years old, a trim 58 pounds, and comes to us after he was an abandoned stray at a crowded shelter with“time’s up.”
Jackson is house trained and crate trained, although he is fine with free roam of the house. He has a “quick sit ‘n go” down pat and thinks it over about coming when called. He’s a happy greeter with a non-stop wagging tail — four-on-the-floor needs some work –, and a delightful leash-walking companion. Jackson is an easy going pup who gets along well with other friendly, laid back dogs. Cats and scurrying outdoor critters? “Love to chase ‘em!” he woofs.
Friendly, affectionate and comfortable in his own fur, he counts walks, sitting with you on the couch, snoozing and practicing being a couch potato inside and out as faves. He can be a bit demanding with pawing and mouthiness when seeking attention, so if there are children in his new family, older ones would be best. A six-foot fence is required in Jackson’s forever home.
“Your agenda is my agenda,” wags Jackson. “Hope thing #1 on your list is going home together soon!”
