Project Description

Say “Hello!” to delightful Oso who is eagerly looking forward to finding his Lab-loving Colorado forever family. He’s two years old, needs to add about five pounds to his current 52, and comes to us from a busy family that was not able to keep him.

Oso, who is living with our trainer, is house trained, crate trained, knows sit, working on other basic commands and polishing his recall. He’s a smart Lab who is eager to please and learn new things, especially for a cookie.  An on-the-go pup, leash manners are a work in process; a Freedom Harness or Gentle Leader is recommended.

Oso has the signature Lab love of people big and small, playing fetch and swimming.  He adores, relishes, can’t get enough of being in the water!  “If you’ve got a ball AND water, I’m in heaven!” he wags. Add some toys and belly rubs to the mix, and you’ll have indulged him in all his faves. Like most young Labs, he’ll appreciate a good supply of approved chew toys to while away the time.

He’s a social and active Lab. The successful family for Oso is one that will make him a big part of their everyday life. In addition, it will be one that has the time and desire to provide him with daily exercise as well as continue his positive-oriented training. “I’d sure love another playful dog pal my size in my new family!” woofs this happy, super playful boy.

So fill up the pool, find a lake, grab some tennis balls, stuff your pockets with cookies . . . Oso, your BFF, can’t wait to meet you!
