Silver may be a precious metal, but it’s nothing compared to our dapper silver Lab, Rolo! Dashingly good looking, he’s about 6 years old and a tad hefty at 82 pounds: 70-75 would be just about right. He was an overlooked stray in a crowded shelter, but we saw a gem and now here he is with us ready for a forever home!
Rolo is relishing to good life in his foster home where he is a welcome guest. He’s house trained, fine with free roam of the home, and happy to demo his sit, stay and shake – a treat is always welcome! Rolo rides well in the car, keeps four-on-the-floor for greetings and is quite nice on leash walks. Other dogs find him as easy going pal. A home without cats is best.
More from his foster family:
“Rolo is a happy-go-lucky dog who loves his people. He loves to play fetch and go for walks – he LOVES walks and is a great walking buddy. He is very friendly, but he needs lots of love and a routine. Rolo likes to be close and follow you around, but if you stay in one place he settles and lays down.
“We think he would do well as an only dog or with another bigger dog. He likes to play so we think having another dog would be beneficial. But he also needs attention and lots love from his family. And in return he will make you feel very loved.”
Rolo woofs, “ No matter what kind of day you’re having, I will always be ready as the ‘Silver Lining” to any clouds that come your way!”
