If you’re a lover of active fun loving gorgeous yellow Labs, you’ll want to make a date to meet Yeller. He’s about three years old and tips the scale at 64 pounds. Yeller comes to us as a stray who had a long stay in a small rural shelter where adoptions are few.

This handsome pup is a recent arrival so we are just getting acquainted. Yeller is a friendly Lab who gets along well with human friends as well as canine ones. We don’t know his feelings about cats. He loves to be close to people and is ready with Labby kisses. He knows sit, and enjoys treats but is a bit ‘mouthy’. “Gotta work on that!” he winks. As you can imagine, after his long shelter stay, he craves attention and loves daily exercise. He’s a strong Lab on leash so a front clip type harness will be best for walks together.

When we asked Yeller about the family of his dreams he was quick to woof: “One that loves active Colorado adventures and will make me a big part of their life! I’m eager to learn how to be the best Lab ever, so hope they are patient with me, and we can do some obedience training together. But most of all, I’m hoping to finally sit and stay forever with a family of my own!”
