Rosie, a six-month-old stray puppy from a Kansas shelter, arrived happy and waggy, but after a little while she was not feeling very well. She was taken to the ER where she was tested positive for parvovirus. Rosie spent the next six days hospitalized in the intensive care isolation unit with a serious, debilitating case of this disease. Worrisome days went by with no improvement, but finally with expert care she turned the corner. She was very happy to soon be home with a loving family.
Our veterinary partner for Rosie’s veterinary care is Alameda East Veterinary Hospital.
