Wrigley is now Wally, and life is grand for this gorgeous 5-year-old Lab. Wally is enjoying the active life with his new dad, John, as the two take advantage of their large property which includes private hiking trails as well as couple of ponds and a creek for swimming and cooling off on hot summer days.
John tells us:
Wally has been doing great in his new home. He is very loving and quite athletic. He loves to swim and hike and of course he is quite proud of his new toy collection. I probably had unreasonable expectations at the time I adopted him, but I’m happy to report that he quickly exceeded my high expectations. He is awesome and I feel so lucky that we found each other. As you can see by the photo, Wally loves swimming. He was very underweight when I adopted him and I’m still working on getting some more weight on him before his formal debut photo is ready. He is looking much better, but his ribs are still visible and I think that he could still be a month away from attaining his ideal weight.
I just love Wally and am grateful for the role that SHLR played in bringing us together.
