Miss Rosie is every bit as sweet as her name suggests! Our lovely little lady is seven years old and a perfect 62 pounds. She was surrendered to a shelter when her family could no longer care for her. The shelter in turn asked for our help addressing a lump on her leg. Our vet removed it and all is well. “Now I can’t wait to get settled in my forever home!” she wags.
Rosie has been a most welcome and companionable guest in her foster home. She’s house trained, fine with free roam of the home, and happy to show off her ‘sit’ for a treat. Rosie’s former family, who cared for since she was a puppy, included adults, children, and a cat. She gets along well with other dogs and is very excited to see them on walks. Leash manners are pretty good, and she enjoys several walks a day. Rosie loves greeting everyone and after a bit of excitement, settles into pleasant tail wagging ‘happy to meet you!’
Rosie’s faves include Fetch, Fetch and more Fetch! She also loves to lay on the deck and watch people and the world go by too. Overall she’s a friendly, affection young lady who is comfortable in her own fur, but also wants to be close to her foster mom. “My bed is right next to hers,” Rosie adds.
A lovely and oh-so-sweet Lab lady, Miss Rosie is sure to steal you heart!
