Always happy to see you, good-natured, and just a little bit goofy, Gordy has a wonderfully endearing personality that wins hearts wherever he goes. This handsome no-more-than one year old youngster sports a beautiful, almost-white coat, and is fit and trim, weighing in at a perfect 72 pounds.
Gordy doesn’t let having three legs slow him down for a second. While most of his dog pals have four ‘wheels’, Gordy woofs, “Who’s counting?” as he happily keeps up with the fun. He loves meeting people and other dogs, and let us know there is no such thing as too much petting! Once settled in he rides well in the car, and on leash he’d an on-the-go guy so a front clip type harness is best. Gordy is still getting the hang of ‘sit’, loves treats and is eager to please. He is quite endearing.
Before coming to us, Gordy was found as a stray who suffered an accident that ultimately led to the loss of one of his legs. But if Gordy remembers those difficult days, he certainly doesn’t dwell on them. Today, he’s focused on what matters most: enjoying every adventure, making new friends, and finding a loving family to call his own!
