My Story: When I grew to 69 pounds my family decided I was too big, so they gave me to the shelter. They didn’t notice my eyelashes were ingrown, a condition called entropion, and rubbing against my eyes with every blink. My ears hurt too from an infection. I got meds for my ears and had delicate surgery to correct my eyelashes. The worst part was wearing an e-collar for two weeks so I wouldn’t mess with the eyelash stitches!
