“TAHOE” had a heart and soul as pure as his brilliant crème coat. Here he is with his mom, Roslyn, and SHLR alum Murphy (née Finley). We were sitting Tahoe one October long ago the day we brought Murphy home from his SHLR foster family. Just a few months older, Tahoe was patient, playful and kind, making Murphy’s first days in his new home so much easier.
When Roslyn became ill, Tahoe became inseparable from her being gentle, intuitive and devoted. Roslyn loved all dogs, but the bond she and Tahoe shared was something special. She passed with Tahoe, dad Doug, family and friends by her side. Then came Tahoe’s own grief and subsequent illness. Just ten days later, he joined Roslyn. Both shared gentle souls, were wonderful friends, enjoyed raucous playtime and left giant holes in the lives of us who knew them.
