Arlo is a tall and lanky character with a slightly darker yellow patch of fur on his face that makes him look rakishly handsome! He’s about two years old and being rather thin at 78 pounds, he’s looking forward to a task many pups would envy: gaining some weight! He came to us as a stray from a crowded Texas shelter where he was rescued in the nick of time.
A recent arrival, we’re enjoying getting acquainted with Arlo. He’s a happy, friendly guy who is quickly your best friend if you have treats. All in all he seems like a pretty mild manner pup, although his four-on-the floor needs some polish. Arlo knows sit and makes great eye contact. He’s friendly with other dogs, but we don’t know his feelings about cats. He wonders why you are so slow on leash walks so a front clip type walking harness is best when you step out together. Our volunteer especially appreciated how cooperative he was having his photo taken!
