Baxter’s motto is: “I adore you!” Our handsome 11.5 year old boy adds, “Your agenda is my agenda”. He relishes having a paw in all you’e up and by your side is his very favorite place. He’s a trim 80 pounds. Baxter has been a much-loved Lab who needs a new home now because of illness in his family.
A very social Lab, Baxter adores everyone, relishes other dogs to pal around with, and a soft bed next to yours. He’s house trained, fine with free roam of the home and is a friendly enthusiastic greeter with all. Baxter knows sit, comes when called and loves car rides. He enjoys walks with an Easy Walk type harness – he is a strong guy and can be reactive when meeting other dogs on leash. Some training is order there! He loves treats and can be overly enthusiastic taking them.
His faves? Playing with squeaky toys, being with his person and receiving lots of affection, and naps. “I loves naps!” he wags. He enjoys lazy days sunning himself in the backyard, and snagging apples from the tree over the fence.
His family remarked:
“Baxter, is silly eager to please, learns quickly and is affectionate and cuddly. He lies at my feet when I’m working on the computer or reading. Baxter is happy and enthused about anything. He finds the vacuum cleaner fascinating and follows it around. He’s incredibly sweet and a big silly duffus!”
