Miss Cassie is a happy-go-lucky young lady who counts walks, playing with toys and having a paw in all your up to as her faves! She’s a smaller 2.5 year old beauty who tips the scale at 54 pounds. Her ancestry may be a bit of a mystery, but she’s a 100% engaging people lover. Cassie joins us from a busy family who was not able to care for her.

She’s house trained, uses a doggie door and is fine with free roam of the home. This smart cookie knows sit, stay, down, shake and to come when called. She takes treats nicely and is eager to please. On leash walks she wonders why you’re so slow so a Gentle Leader is best. She’s a happy greeter who’s enthusiasm needs some work. Other dogs find Cassie a get-along play mate. We don’t know about cats, but she’s an avid squirrel chaser.

All in all Cassie is a friendly lass who’s playful, affectionate, and while she loves to be with you, is also comfortable in her own fur.

Her foster mom adds:

“Cassie is such a sweet, snuggly, loving, and happy dog who wants to please and learn. She adapted quickly to our house and rules, and loves having freedom to roam the house and yard. Cassie likes other dogs and is happy to greet them for 2 or so minutes and then ready to move on.

“The best home for Cassie? She’s progressing with her training and will be a great dog for someone dedicated to continuing it, especially her greeting manners. If over-excited she may jump and nip at clothes – we are making progress since she is eager to please. She would love to be out hiking, running, and taking lots of walks.”

So grab some treats and make a date to meet Miss Cassie, a little sweetheart on four paws — we bet you won’t be going home alone!

NOTE: Cassie’s forever home must have a six foot fence.
