Introducing the very best sweet in town, Cookie! So handsome and lovable, our Cookie is nine years old and tips the scale at 98 pounds. “The vet said to keep my paws out of the cookie jar and work on slimming down to a perfect 85,” he woofs. He came to us from a family who cared for him since he was a puppy, but their circumstances changed.
Happy and easy going, Cookie was part of a big family and loves everyone big and small. All are greeted with a wagging tail. He’s house trained, fine with free roam of the home, knows sit, and sleeps quietly all night on his dog bed next to you. Cookie is a polite car passenger, walks nicely on leash, and other dogs count his as friend although it’s people he loves most. “Memo to other pups: Keep your snout out of my food bowl!” He’ll chase small critters; don’t know about cats.
Before joining us, Cookie lived mostly outside with a doghouse for shelter. He’s blossomed into a wonderful house dog with the help of his loving foster family. Many things are new. But he’s a brave and curious boy discovering the good life with you by his side!

NOTE: Like many senior Labs, Cookie has some arthritis, so he takes a daily joint supplement to keep him comfortable. He’s also working on losing the vet‑recommended 13 pounds, and will need your help staying on track with his weight‑loss plan.
Stairs are still a new adventure for Cookie, but this sweet boy is making steady progress and growing more confident every day!
