Effie is an adorable little gem who can steal your heart in an instant! She’s four months old and an irresistible 23 pounds of puppy love. Her coat is as soft as a bunny and she has a little white patch on her forehead perfect for kissing. Effie was a very scared lost little girl in a crowded under-resourced shelter where “guests” are not welcome to stay very long. We’re not sure of her family tree, but were sure she needed a chance for a well loved life.
Our little muffin is settling in with her wonderful puppy foster mom and two resident dogs who are showing her the ropes. House training is progressing well, and her love of treats should make training fun.
Miss Effie is a little shy after all the changes in her life, but once she feels safe, her curiosity starts to shine. Her waggy little tail when she trots along is so cute! She loves following a little trail of treats, and her squeaky chew toys are a constant source of delight.
Effie is also a snuggle bug at heart who loves being carried, held close, and cuddled.
No doubt about it, little Miss Effie will steal your heart!
NOTE: Effie will only be placed in a home with: (1) adults or older children who can treat a dog with kindness and respect, and (2) one that clearly has the dedication and substantial time throughout the day to devote to raising a puppy to responsible adulthood.
