Calling all Chocolate lovers . . . Miss Hershey, one very sweet Lab lady has joined us! She’s 6.5 years old and a delightful fudge morsel at 85 pounds. Amber- eyed Hershey was a well-loved family Lab from the time she was a wee pup, but when her family’s circumstances changed, they asked us to find a loving new home for their girl.
As you would expect from a well-loved family Lab, Hershey is house trained, crate trained and knows quite a few commands including sit, lay down, ‘kennel’, and to come when called. She walks quite nicely on leash and loves long walks – the longer the better! Hershey enjoys meeting new people and is friendly with other dogs as long as they keep their paws off her food. Cats and small critters prefer she live elsewhere. Besides long walks, faves include lots of retrieving, being loved on, and tasty treats. “Hope you have a ‘Chuckit’ for hurling tennis balls!” she wags. Not-faves are scary thunder, fireworks, and trips to the vet.
Miss Hershey will enjoy a quieter yet active family that will make her a big part of their life. In a nutshell, she’s a sweet, smart, affectionate, loyal, and pleasantly active chocolate morsel who will be a wonderful addition to one lucky family. Do you think she might choose yours?
