Ollie’s foster mom remarks, ”Ollie is a pretty good pup! He’s a typical young Lab, but a bit more mellow than most.” A very engaging little guy, he’s 6-7 months old and tips the scale at 49 pound of pure chocolate Lab puppy love. Believe it or not, Ollie was an unwanted stay puppy in a crowded shelter. We couldn’t resist scooping him up and finding him find a perfect forever home!
Ollie has a lovely temperament and has charmed everyone he’s met, from our rescue partner and vet staff to his foster family—adults, kids, and dogs alike. He’s house trained, crate trained and has shown off his ’sit’ so far. Ollie loves his walks and does pretty well on leash only pulling if a bunny pops up or he’s eager to meet another dog. Speaking of dogs, Ollie loves playing and romping with canine pals. Toys are a big hit and so is lots of fetching!
Ollie will thrive with an active family that has patience and a sense of humor when it comes to a young one’s shenanigans. Approved chewables are a must! He’ll thrive with kind leadership, lots of exercise, and positive oriented training to bond with his new family. Older children will be best since Ollie, like a typical puppy, can be a bit mouthy when excited.

NOTE: Ollie came to us with a little hair loss around one eye. Our vet reports this is non-contagious skin condition puppies can have that resolves on its own, and the hair will grow back.
