“I must have been an adorable pudgy puppy to end with the name ‘Pudge’, but now I’m a trim one year old tipping the scale at a perfect 50 pounds! My white tippy toes and super cute sometimes perky pop-up ears are courtesy of a mysterious ancestor. When my family’s life changed and they could no longer care for me, they left me at a small crowded rural shelter where ‘guests’ are not allowed to stay very long.”
Pudge is settling in with us and we can tell you he’s a delightful playful character full of young pup energy, and a love for people and toys! He knows sit, walks pretty well on leash and is fond a treats, a plus when it comes to learning new things. Pudge needs a reminder to keep four-on-the-floor when excited, and catches on quickly what he needs to do please you. Pudge lived with other dogs and relished playtime with them We don’t know about cats.
The best forever home for Pudge? Like all youngsters, he’ll thrive with an active family that can provide plenty of daily exercise and continued training to bring out his best, and bond with his family. A backyard to run and play in with you will be perfect for this active little guy. We think he may enjoy a canine pal of similar size and energy in his new home too.
So grab a leash and pocket full of treats and make a date to meet most endearing young Pudge. We bet you won’t be going home alone!
