Miss Sadie is a girl who just wants to have fun! A 9ish-year-old Lab, there is quite a bit of her to have fun with at her current 103 pounds. “I do love my food!” she wags. “But more exercise and less food in my dish is what the vet ordered,” she adds with a sigh. Sadie was given to our shelter partner when her owners were no longer able to care for her.
Sadie is settling in with us and we’re enjoying getting acquainted with this most engaging Lab lady. She’s house trained, knows how to sit, rides quietly in the car and is pretty good on the leash – but remember, she’s a big strong girl! Sadie is a friendly, happy pup with everyone she meets and did well with other dogs she met at the shelter. She takes treats nicely and is your new BFF if you have one. We also discovered Sadie is quite a water lover – both to drink and to play in. As you can see from her photos, she loved the fountain at our vet hospital. She and another “big girl” Lab (Ruby who is also available for adoption) took many turns going in and out for a cooling dip!
An easy-going, good-natured mature Lab, Sadie would love to call your family her own! “Hope you have a pool for me too!” she woofs.
