What could possibly be better than a beautiful friendly well-loved yellow Lab? If you said “Two beautiful friendly, well-loved yellow Labs,” you’re right! Dozer and Sage, brother and sister since the day they were born, are a delightful 8 year old bonded pair. Dozer is 80 pounds and sister Sage is 61. They spent their entire lives with a family whose circumstances suddenly changed and could no longer able care for them.
With wagging tails and ready Labby smiles, Dozer and Sage are settling in with their foster family. They’re house trained, crate trained, been allowed free roam of the home and know some basic commands: sit, down, and to come when called. They are eager to please and follow direction well from all family members. Both walk pretty well on leash and were accustomed to following their owners around on a large ranch property. Long walks are definitely a fave along with games of fetch! They lived with cats — they ignored each other. A six foot fence in their new home is best.
Both pups received a much needed bath, and each received a thorough dental cleaning. We wanted to make sure they’d be their shiniest and smiling best to meet their new family!
In a nutshell: Miss Sage is a friendly Lab who has never met a stranger; Dozer is a sweet and loving Lab who relishes attention. Both were well-loved and are looking forward bringing an abundance of Lab love and joy to one very lucky family!
NOTE: Like many Labs, Dozer has some allergies that make him itchy. He eats a readily available salmon and rice kibble, and has benefited from a cytopoint injection to stop the itch.
