Always happy to see you, so good natured and ready to play or retrieve, four year old Tri has that wonderful, even, endearing temperament everyone loves in a Lab! He’s unfazed that he’s got ‘three wheels’ instead of four like most of his doggie acquaintances. “Who’s counting?!” he woofs with a wink. Tri, who was greatly loved and well cared for, joined us along with his three year old housemate after their owner passed away. He was her very loyal and loving best friend.
Tri weighs about 65 pounds and is a trim, agile and typically active Lab with an ever wagging tail. He’s never met a stranger and has the best smile ever. He’s house trained, accustomed to the comforts of a loving home, knows some commands and rides well in the car. He was also a commendable traveler on the private plane that brought him to us! Tri is an on-the -go guy on leash who relishes being out and about. He lived with another dog his size and been friendly with others he’s met. He also shared his home a cat, and was reported to be good with children. And he loves to fetch!
Tri is making himself comfortable in his foster home and we’ll soon have more to share. But why wait? Our handsome lovable boy is ready to wag his way into your heart on a moment’s notice!
NOTE: We learned Tri lost his hind leg as a very young dog cared for by a Good Samaritan due to a condition with his foot. A home with fewer stairs would be best.
