It would be hard to find a better match than Amy and her first (and forever) dog, Ari. Sweet Ari couldn’t be a better ambassador for Labradors and all dogs in general. She has been showing her new mama how much more fabulous life can be when you go through it, hand in paw, with a wink and a wag and a special four-legged friend. They are off to a great start, and this is just the beginning of all the shared laughs, love, and adventures to come for this delightful duo. 
Amy tells their story:
I was smitten with Ari (formerly Arya) the minute I saw her. Little did I know she has a heart that matches the size of her big ol’ head. She is the sweetest and happiest girl that MUST be involved in everything. Her spicy side is coming out and it’s hilarious — she grunt-sasses the neighbors from the couch while she’s watching TV. Quite the talker!
She is up for any adventure but still learning to be sure-footed and find her confidence. She already loves jumping in streams, barking at cows on the dirt roads, and doing big zoomies after walks in the rain! I can’t wait to watch her experience her first snow at 7 years old! For now, she’s content to order her own pup cups from the baristas and has her second family (my dog sitters) wrapped around her paws.
Thanks to Kathy and SHLR for helping Ari find her way from Texas, and blessings to Erika and Ari’s SHLR foster family. Their patience and kindness helped this first-time dog momma get ready to open my home and heart to this wonderful partner in crime. I couldn’t imagine this turning out any better. She’s truly a wonderful doggo and a fabulous companion!
