Kristin and Adam traded their peace and quiet for a home filled with wiggles, wags, puppy breath, stolen (borrowed?) footwear, the sounds of zoomies and enthusiastic dining, and all the fun that arrives when you bring home a puppy.  The bearer of all that puppy goodness is young Benny, who always makes sure his new parents know how happy he is to be home.
Benny’s parents sent an update on their boy:
We met Benny when he was just four months old and 27 pounds of pure sweetness.
Adopted through SHLR and his foster mom Penny, he won us over the moment we met.
Now close to 50 pounds, Benny’s grown into a confident, curious pup.
He’s friendly with everyone—dogs, people, anyone who’ll say hi.
He loves car rides and is always ready for the next adventure.
He’s already been to wineries, breweries, camping and tackled a few short hikes.
Turns out he’s half Lab, half Australian Shepherd, which explains the energy.
He’s playful, loving, and constantly on the move—especially when parading a sock or shoe.
He zooms in and out of the back screen door with his favorite toy, then sprawls out in a sunny spot in the yard.
He’s all about belly rubs and morning cuddles.
Watching him grow has been a joy, and he keeps us on our toes daily.
Benny’s a happy, friendly pup who’s made our home feel even more full.
Many thanks to Sam and Jenn, and to Penny, for fostering Benny!
