Cato joined Cathy’s family at the ripe young age of three months and has been soaking up all the love and snuggles while keeping busy growing, playing, and learning, as he works towards becoming the very best Lab citizen he can be. In the meantime, his main job is to bring the puppy party fun, even if his new feline siblings remain somewhat unimpressed with his idea of a good time. 
Cato’s new mom tells us:
We brought Rookie home on July 12 and renamed him Cato, meaning very wise. He seems to be growing by leaps and bounds and settled in nicely immediately. In addition to the humans, he shares his home with three cats who he keeps trying to play with and he can’t understand why they just want to watch him from a distance! He loves going on walks, playing in the sprinklers, snoozing on the lawn chairs outside and snuggling next to Mama on the couch. He just started training and I’m sure one day, he will be a great hiking and running companion. Many thanks to SHLR for rescuing him and his brothers!
