Young Charlie has been gifted born as a mixed breed. Some dogs are affectionately called “Heinz 57” breeds. For Charlie, he likes being a Lab mix, with a few other different breed qualities rounding him out. That makes him quite unique and special. He is smart of course, and has many talents, interests, and jobs at home to keep him busy. Meredith, his adopter, is very taken with his hard work to keep everything in line, and she must feel more safe and secure, while he keeps his domain free of the pesky, furry, interlopers! Charlie is young and carefree and as he nears his first birthday, he has a bright future, surrounded by his forever family. He looks forward to lots of trails to conquer and friends to meet! Here is what Meredith, had to say about Charlie :
Charlie is adjusting well to his life in the mountains. With seemingly endless energy Charlie enjoys morning hikes, playing with his toys, friends, and human family, and very much loves running and playing in the snow. Thanks to his foster mom, Charlie is a pro at basic commands and is now working diligently at “stay’s”, and loose leash walking, which he gets better at each day. Charlie is a Labrador mix; other breeds include Great Dane, Great Pyrenees, and Anatolian Shepherd. He is smart, eager to please, loves to be with us humans, and as part- guard dog, he is not shy to let us know when he hears or sees something unexpected. Once he overcame his fear of getting into the car, he became a great road trip buddy, taking trips to the front range, western Colorado, Wyoming, and Leadville so far. Charlie is excited for each day and he is a beloved addition to the family.

Many thanks to Vicky Emory, who fostered Charlie fka Triton!
