It’s been twice as nice around Maureen and Ross’ house ever since a couple of handsome young Lab brothers, 3.5-year-old Gus and 2.5-year-old Cody, moved in. This delightful duo is a joy to be around as they’re always ready to start the party and bring the fun, and you’ll never catch these upbeat brothers singing the blues.
Gus and Cody’s new parents sent us an update:
We have always had black labs, and after the loss of our boy Ryder, our house was too quiet… well that is no longer the case! We went looking for one, and came home with brothers. These two are full of life and vigor – every morning they wake with unrelenting joy at the rising sun, and the only battle is keeping them from stealing our morning coffee (Gus has a penchant for the coconut creamer). Most weekends find us hiking our favorite trails along the Boulder foothills, with the boys finding a sun puddle at home to nap the afternoon away. They are truly wonderful pups – Gus is the comedian (he makes an “oinking” sound as he walks by delicious smells in the kitchen), and Cody is the sweet & sensitive athlete. The boys are going on their first trip to Minnesota to spend the holidays with our family in a few weeks, and everyone is excited to meet the famous brothers!
Many thanks to Andrea and Rich for fostering Cody (Koda) and Gus (Napoleon.)
