Mr. Cooper came to us on Valentines Day in 2014. He met us at the door of the fosters home with a smile and the cutest head tilt that captivated us. Cooper enjoyed many wonderful Colorado adventures living in a rural community in a home that backs up to a national forest! It was quite the change from his first year of living in a trailer park in Denver and being tied out most of the time. Cooper had no training or socialization when we adopted him. He was quite reactive to everything. We hooked him up with a trainer for a few sessions and carefully trained him ourselves for many hours. He was smart and learned quickly. I found out I love training dogs after that and was able to help some neighbors by what I had learned. Cooper was the neighborhood greeter dog and loved by many. He went to the Rainbow Bridge at 12 years old on 10/28/25. We will miss his smiling face, his cute head tilt at many familiar words and his obsession with snow and swimming and his sweet loving nature. We have been blessed by our adorable loving Cooper!
