Three-year-old Dodger is having the time of his young life with his new parents, Bailey and Evan, and dog sister, Bella.  In between catching up on his lessons, it’s been all fun and games, snuggles and swims, rousing games of fetch, and the occasional muffin.   Although sister Bella wasn’t initially convinced that she needed a sibling, this artful Dodger is winning her over and should soon have her wrapped around his not-so-little paw.

Dodger’s family sent us an update:

Dodger is doing a great job and is the perfect addition to our family. His sweet goofy personality is coming out, and he absolutely adores our other dog, Bella, which we couldn’t be happier about. Bella is our 8 year old rescue mutt, who is slowly coming around to having a younger brother, but Dodger is definitely growing on her. Dodger is a great cuddler, and greets us each morning by laying on your chest with his paws at your shoulders. He is a huge fan of playtime, and we love playing tug, or fetch, or watching him toss his toys in front of himself to run after. We secretly think he has springs in his back legs, because he loves to jump around while playing. A big fan of water, we’ve tried to maximize his swimming opportunities since we got him, and while he can be unsure of getting in the car, I think it’s always worth it to him after a new adventure. A couple counter surfing incidents later (dumb parents for leaving banana muffins out) and he is trying his best to be a good boy. We couldn’t be happier and can’t imagine not having him with us now!

Many thanks to Andrea and Rich for fostering Dodger/Dagger!
