Another lucky lady Lab has found her happily forever after with Margaret and Michael.  Introducing Miss Dolly, a stunning six-year-old beauty with the face of an angel and the heart of a Lab.

Dolly’s new parents sent us an update:

We would like to thank Safe Harbor Lab Rescue for what they do and for giving us an opportunity to bring another wonderful Labrador soul to our Ol’ Girls’ Home. With Dolly being a little younger than the Labbies we normally meet, she has brought an extra dose of energy, enthusiasm, and joy to our world.

Dolly easily received approval to move in from the matron of our house, 10 yr. old Lady Wilma (another SHLR girl). Dolly figured out the social order immediately and showed polite respect for Wilma’s rules. Good Golly Miss Dolly is making great progress on her weight loss goals. Our favorite vet checked her out, just smiled at us and said the word “perfect”.

She’s also a little bit sneaky. She let herself out of the yard, took herself for a swim in the lake behind our house, then appeared at the back door asking to be let in. Soaking wet, she was wagging and smiling proudly for all she was worth.

Dolly is a huggable cuddle pup, an all-around gem of a girl whom we look forward to having in our lives for a long time.

Thanks is not enough. Hugs and licks, M, M, W, and D

PS.  We can’t forget to mention Dollyball – her rules of fetch. If you’re too tired to run again, just don’t bring it back

Many thanks to Vicki E. for fostering Dolly/Marley!
