After some much needed surgery, fine-tuning, and loving foster care, five-year-old Gerdy was back on four paws and ready to dance off into her forever. This cheerful chocolate beauty soon caught the eye of Joan and John, who were looking for a special Lab girl to add to their family. Sweet Gerdy quickly won them over and is now thoroughly enjoying starring in her second act alongside her new parents and Lab sister, with cameo appearances by Cousin Buddy.
Gerdy’s new mom sent us an update and some family photos:
“We are so pleased with Gerdy! She is an absolute doll! The first photo is of Gerdy with her 9-year-old sister Annie and her little cousin Buddy out for their morning walk. The second picture is Gerdy in the car. She does love her car rides, especially if we are going to Yucca Flats, an open space off-leash area for dogs!
We are so grateful to Safe Harbor and her foster family. She has definitely found her forever home!”
