Eight-month-old Jake is as handsome a hunk of chocolate as you’ll ever see, and he’s as adorable on the inside as he is on the outside. This outgoing youngster was looking for just the right family to share all of his considerable Lab sweetness with, and as soon as he met Jennifer and her teenage son, he immediately knew he was already home.

Jake’s new mom tells us:

Jake is doing great. We love him so much. He fits right into the pack. He loves to play, and his favorite toys are a pink elephant and a squeak snake. We are training him to be an emotional support dog. He never meets a stranger. I take him to work with me regularly and he is a Jefferson County courthouse favorite. He wears his bandanna so everyone knows he came from Safe Harbor Lab Rescue (one of the founders used to work in this courthouse). Jake is an ambassador for Labs in need and multiple people have been checking out the website after meeting him!
