David and his 11-year-old Lab, Avery, have welcomed a new kid into the family. Kiba is about a year old and a very sociable fellow who’s always ready to make new friends among both the two and four-legged set. While this gorgeous, sweet and snuggly pup is much more than just a pretty face, Kiba has been known to turn a few heads when stopping in for a drink at the local brewpub. 
Kiba’s new dad tells us:
Kiba is doing well and settling into his new digs nicely! He’s loving all the walks in Wash Park, loves meeting new people and dogs, and has proven to be a great chilling-on-a-porch-at-a-brewpub kind of dog. We’ve started some training, and he’s already doing better with loose leash walking, waiting at the door, and we’re working on recall next. He’s got a ton of toys that he’s enjoying, and only occasionally shredding now, and we’re working on fetch, which he seems to like for at least short periods for now, and I figure that lab instinct is bound to kick in more at some point! He’s also a world class snuggler (as you can see from the photos), and his preferred spot seems to be upside down and halfway in my lap, which is objectively adorable. All-in-all we’re having a good time getting to know each other, working through any bumps in the road just fine, and he’s an excellent addition to the family!
