When the lovely Ms. Luna met Susan and Scott, she immediately knew she wanted to adopt them and fill their home with Lab love, Lab hair, and a zillion tennis balls, from now until forever.  At four years old, Luna is always ready to learn a new trick or two, but she didn’t realize how easy it would be to train her parents until she discovered the bell.  Ring the bell, and the parents will open the door.  Ring the bell and stare at your water bowl…and voila! The possibilities are endless, but Luna has promised to go easy on her parents because her new life is already everything she ever dreamed of, and so much more.

Susan and Scott sent us an update on life with Luna:

When we first got Luna, she was in need of a little training. It was obvious that she had been with someone who loved her and worked with her because she learned so quickly. I grieved for her prior owner as she’s so sweet and I worried they were missing her. I promised Luna that we would love her and that we would take care of each other. We are thrilled to have her in our lives. She gives us constant love and affection and is perfectly happy to just sit and be petted. She is ball crazy, a typical lab! And she loves her walks. We had a lab before Luna and had a bell on the door to go out-I showed Luna how to ring it and within a few days she had learned. Now she’s taught us when she wants water-she rings the bell and sits and looks at us! She’s absolutely the perfect addition to our family and gets along great with our grand dogs! Thank you SHLR for allowing us to adopt her.

Many thanks to Ladean for fostering Luna/Mandy!
